Kaylee's Angel Day

Today is Kaylee's Angel Day, the day she decided to take a seat up above and watch over our family!
We went and visited her and left her some pretty flowers.
We miss you Kaylee!

What's New... My lil Sis is 2!

This morning I woke up to Happy Birthday being sung again, but this time it wasn't for me.... my lil sis turned 2 today!  She was soakin up all the attention and really enjoyed singing to herself.  We had a pretty busy but fun day, which involved swimming in our bday present (that's why we are in our suits during cake time).  Anywho, hope you enjoy the pics as much as Maggie enjoyed blowing the candles out!  She is quite the character...

I didn't care for her strawberry whipped frosting, I'll take my blue stuff any day... we'll see what my ma whips up for our par-tay on Aug 3rd.

Shut the Front Door..... I am Four!

Happy Birthday to Me.
So people, today I turned 4 years old.  We celebrated just me, Maggie, Mom, and Dad today after dinner.  Thought I would practice a lil for cake smash for our party on Aug 3rd.

Maggie enjoyed the cake too!

Something going on?

Let me start by saying, last weekend we hung out with all the Servais Peeps - we had the Servias Open on Saturday.  Me and Maggie hung out with our cuz Zoey, Aunt Ashley, and Grandma (cause we don't like golfing).  But my mom and dad did. Little history, the Servais Open has never been rained out in the 30ish years it has been going on.... and we can continue to say that cause my crazy parents and relatives golfed in the down pour of rain we had on Saturday.  They made it the first round with just a few sprinkles, but the best ball round it poured.  There was one point where they all headed in and sat in the cart shed and enjoyed some good ol' La Crosse Lager, but they decided they were already wet so why not finish.  Yep, that's my fam.  Anywho, the dinner and awards ceremony afterward was fun.  Then on Sunday we all got together again for a nice co-ed baby shower for my great cuz Angela.  Boy the Servais bunch can get pretty loud at times, but it was fun.

patiently waiting the celebration...
summer school celebrated already!

And speaking of fun.... this weekend, I turn 4 and Maggie turns 2 (craziness!).  We are postponing our big bday par-tay till Sunday Aug. 3rd.  We will have a co-bday party on Sunday at our place in La Crescent (the day after our Little Miracles 5K and Family Fun Fest in Rochester) and anyone and everyone is welcome to join us.  We are gonna have a balloon themed pool party so hope for good weather :)  If you want details, I can share them with you as we get closer and if you want our address, talk to my mom.  At summer school this past week, I got a bday crown and a awesome book.  Maggie is gonna take treats to daycare on Monday and I will take something next week to summer school too.

Summer Holiday

Let me tell you, we had a pretty jam packed holiday weekend.... I am getting exhausted just getting ready to tell you about it, but here I go.

First we had my Shay family come over for dinner Thursday night.  My cousins always keep me entertained, I don't think they ever sit still.  Maggie loved it and she loved playing with Uncle Andy too!  He's just a big kid at heart so all us kids naturally love him.  My Uncle Jeremy brought fireworks and set them off in our back yard, it was pretty awesome......

It was soo much fun, the next day my Servais relatives came over and my dad decided to continue the fun with them by buying more fireworks.  I really like the ones that crackle and Maggie liked the ones that looked like stars.  This was our first 4th of July in our La Crescent house, we had big fireworks going off on all sides of us, it was crazy.  I went to bed cause I was beat but Maggie couldn't get past the loud noise and stayed up with everyone.  Aunt Kristi even flew home to hang out with us for the weekend!!!!

Then on Saturday my dad had to race in a dragon boat race in La Crosse.  He was busy with that all day.  We got to see him race once and it was pretty cool.  There were 54 teams which got divided into 2 leagues, my dad's team took 7th in his division.  We were pretty proud :)  Great Aunt Rose even joined us down by the river.  After we watched him race we went and hung out at the park - there happened to be a water playground there.  Maggie went nuts.  She was in heaven running in the water with the big kids (she was the smallest one there but it didn't stop her).  It looked like so much fun I got mom and Aunt Kristi to take me through just a couple times.  I didn't get as wet as Maggie though.  She had to change her whole outfit, but it was a good thing she did cause at RiverFest they had a big blow up slide that Grandpa Servais got her tickets to go on.  Again, she was the youngest one, but she climbed right up and slide right down!  She is a pretty brave lil sister, must have learned that from me (wink wink).

Everyone took off Sunday and I finally got to catch up on some rest..... boy, busy holiday weekends are the best.
