We Survived our 1st Fam Vacation

Family vacation 2014, our first attempt at a big trip away from home.  We had to fly on an airplane.  My mom was very nervous (actually very is an understatement, she was stressed like crazy).  But it was all good!  We - both me and Maggie - did well on the flight and in the airport. I think my parents may actually think about doing this again.  Well, maybe if we could guarantee that no one would get sick again.  That's right, Maggie had a bad cough and didn't feel good... Dad had a bad cough and was tired... Mom lost her voice for 2 days (not saying this is a bad thing)... and I ended up throwing up after all my feedings (but my mom is convinced it was because the pharmacy messed up and gave me the wrong formula - cause as soon as we got home and I got my normal formula I was fine).  Even with all the sickness, we still had a good time.  My parent's didn't get very much sleep, but the days were fun.  Let's just say it was a good thing Grandma and Grandpa were there too :)  My parent's even got a date night one night.  Anywho, here are some pics from our trip.

We played in the water at an outdoor mall.  It was 80 degrees.  We had fun :)

My parents took us to watch the Milwaukee Brewers play a spring training game.  It was pretty awesome.  We got to spread out on a blanket in the grass.  Maggie took a little nap but apparently it wasn't long enough.... by the end of the game she was not very pleasant.  You can tell in the picture we attempted to take with our grandparents.

We got to be beach bums.... well actually I guess in Arizona it is pool bums.  I love the water!

We grilled out one night at our hotel, yep I am just hangin with da boyz!

We spent one day at the zoo.  Maggie was pretty excited about it.  She was pointing at everything!  We went into the petting zoo and the goats really liked my wheelchair - it was kinda crazy.

We also got to spend one night with some good friends!  We miss them, and a quick shout out to them as they are celebrating double digits today!  Thanks for putting up with my families craziness.
