2. My mom (and us kids) survived driving up to the cities and back for my eye appointment yesterday all by ourselved! It was a long day in the car - just short of 3 hours up and 3 hours back and only one wrong turn. We had to sit around Children's Eye Clinic in the cities for a couple hours while they looked at my eyes. Good new, the doc still says she would hold off on surgery. In fact, she thinks I may not need surgery at all. She says my numbers are looking better - this is good new - and that now she is having my mom patch one of my eyes for 2 hours a day to see if it helps strengthen my other eye. I still have to wear my glasses and we have to go back in 3 more months. Maggie actually slept a majority of the car travel time - she only was "a bugger" as my mom puts it, the last 15 mins of the drive home. I'll take that I guess. I even got in a little nap, and I hardly ever nap in the car. 3. Just wanted to share another pic :)
